HOW GIOLA WAS CREATED

It is a special geological phenomenon, where the sea waters are trapped in a circular rock, creating this wonderful natural attraction.

It is one of the few natural pools in the world with dimensions of 20×15 meters and a depth of three meters, which are constantly renewed by the waves.

APHRODISIA’S TEAR: THE MYTH BEHIND THE PHRASE

HOW TO REACH GIOLA FROM ILIOMAGIC

From Limenas it is 41 km, about 49 minutes ride. To get there follow a soil road for 3-4 km and then you have to walk a short distance. Preferably, go either very early in the morning or the afternoon, as there is nothing to protect you from the sun. Do not forget to bring your water, other drinks & some snacks!
